Chief Executive Officer
As CEO, Kevin Hesselbirg oversees all areas of the companies including fund administration, fund accounting, transfer agency and shareholder servicing, client services, and legal administration. He is also responsible for expanding product offerings and service capabilities.
Kevin Wolf is the President of Gemini Fund Services, LLC (Gemini), overseeing multiple service units, including Fund Administration, Fund Accounting and the Transfer Agency. Kevin is tasked with providing strategic direction for his team of department leaders. Prior to this, Kevin served as the Executive Vice President of Gemini, overseeing the Fund Administration and Legal Administration units. Those units are responsible for providing administration services, including financial reporting, compliance reporting, performance reporting, and treasury reporting. Kevin also serves as an Officer to certain clients of Gemini.
SVP, Legal Administration
As Senior Vice President of Legal Administration, Rich provides strategic direction for the Legal Administration team at Gemini Fund Services, LLC (Gemini). Rich supervises a team of experienced attorneys and paralegals that provide multiple services to all of Gemini’s mutual fund clients and boards, including assistance with fund formation, ongoing recordkeeping, preparation of various regulatory filings, and board administration. Rich and his team work closely with all of Gemini’s clients and the various departments of Gemini and its affiliates, including Fund Administration, Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency, Compliance Services and Distribution. Rich also serves as an Officer to certain Gemini clients.
SVP, Transfer Agent
Kara Baird serves as the Senior Vice President of the Transfer Agent for Gemini Fund Services, LLC (Gemini). Kara is responsible for the oversight of shareholder recordkeeping, transaction processing, broker/dealer relations, call center functions, shareholder tax reporting and all associated shareholder communications. She also manages the Transfer Agent functions for the 529 Plan servicing unit.
SVP, Fund Administration
Jim began his career in the mutual fund industry in 1992 as a fund accountant with the predecessor of Gemini Fund Services, LLC (Gemini). Jim, along with the members of his staff, serves our clients as Senior Vice President of Fund Administration. Previously, he served as Vice President of Fund Administration for six years. Within fund administration, Jim is primarily responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial, performance, treasury and compliance reporting. In addition to providing ongoing services to our clients, Jim has also assisted in the successful launch of numerous mutual funds with various investment strategies. Jim also serves as an Officer to certain clients of Gemini.
SVP, Advisor Services
Susan Hansen, who joined Gemini Fund Services, LLC (Gemini), in April 2000, has over 24 years of mutual fund service and sales experience. Susan is the Senior Vice President of Advisor Services for the day-to-day operations for the Strategic Advisor Services Team. She ensures that each client is provided with the highest level of service and serves as an additional contact between the client and all Gemini departments. Additionally, Susan coordinates and manages the process for all new fund launches and fund conversions.
Scott Spratlen is the Senior Vice President of Technology for Gemini Fund Services, LLC (Gemini). Scott has over 20 years experience and works as a key contributor in formulating the strategic technology goals for Gemini and is responsible for the technology infrastructure. He coordinates all technology initiatives across Gemini and several sister firms to develop systems and solutions for internal and external clients. Scott’s responsibilities include oversight of the day-to-day functions of the Software Development and Network Systems departments.
SVP & Chief Compliance Officer
Kristin McCann currently serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer for Gemini Fund Services, LLC (Gemini). She is responsible for overseeing the Internal Compliance & Control Department, as well as Gemini’s Compliance Program. Kristin currently chairs the Compliance and Risk Committees, in addition to being a member of the Pricing Committee. She also serves as a liaison between Gemini and external audit firms and regulatory agencies.
SVP, Fund Accounting
As the Senior Vice President of Fund Accounting, Vicki Todd is the head of New York and Omaha fund accounting operations for Gemini Fund Services, LLC (Gemini). She is responsible for the oversight of the daily NAV calculations for many Gemini clients and was the Project Manager for Gemini’s accounting system conversion in 2015. Vicki joined Gemini in February 2007 for the sole purpose of starting the Mutual Fund Accounting Department in the Omaha office.
SVP, Tax & Compliance
Wendy Wang joined Gemini Fund Services, LLC (Gemini), in 2006. She is the Senior Vice President of Tax & Compliance and is responsible for compliance and tax servicing for Gemini’s clients. In this capacity, she ensures clients understand and are compliant with the rules and regulations that relate to their funds. She manages the administrators in their post-trade compliance duties. Additionally, Wendy is responsible for providing tax analysis and computation for auditors and annual report disclosures.
National Sales Manager
Jace joined Gemini Fund Services, LLC (Gemini) in 2009 and is currently the National Sales Manager. Jace is responsible for overseeing the business development team, collaborating with partners/affiliated entities and supporting ongoing marketing initiatives. Part of Jace’s role includes educating investment advisors on the pooled investment products Gemini services and helping them identify the best solution for their business needs. Jace also spends time consulting with advisors on creation, launch and distribution of their fund vehicles.
AVP, Business Development – East
Kyle joined Gemini Fund Services, LLC (Gemini) in 2013 and is currently the AVP of Business Development for the East Region of the U.S. Kyle is responsible for educating advisors on available products so that they can take an informed approach when deciding what type of pooled investment vehicle will best fit their business needs. His goal is to ensure that advisors have a deep understanding of: structure, costs, timelines, constraints and distribution of their product, so that their funds can flourish.
